This page will be dedicated to visual tutorials in how to piece together the files among other things that I feel needs to be explained further. Download HJSplit.

01) For my example, I am using “shinhwa_-_talk,_hero_(popjam_2002.10.03)”. This is what your folder should contain after downloading all of the files. As you can see, I also unzipped all the files. After unzipping the files, you are free to delete all the zips so that only the .001, .002, etc. files remain.



02) Open HJSplit. You will notice at the left side is a button labeled, “Join”. Click on it.



03) As you see, another window opened. Now click on the button labeled, “Input File”.



04) Yet another window opens. It will be the windows directory. Here, you will find the location of those .001, .002, etc. files. Once you spot the .001 file, click on it and then click the button labeled, “Open”.



05) Now you click on the “Start” button.



06) You will see the “Working…” bar. This tells you that the files are “joining”. If your files (.001, .002, etc.) are not in the same directory, another window will open up asking you where the other files are located.



07) Once the joining process is completed, you will see this message prompt.



08) You are free to close the HJSplit program. Click on the “Close” button.



09) Your folder should have the output of the .mpg/.avi file that you wanted to get. Notice the last file on the bottom.
